Thank you for the information John.
Hopefully people will take the time to “google” everyone for extra information. I have already done a couple, interesting.
Please take advantage of the time you have to do this to help make an informed decision.

Vote half old and half new. Good to have some continuity.

  3. Anonymous says:

    Continuity of desaster??

  4. Anonymous says:

I agree, half old, half new.
I don’t think we would want everyone new. Need a bit of experience also.

    What a shitshow.

  6. Anonymous says:

    Double, triple, shitshow!

I can’t wait to see what Dean Ward will be flipflopping on if he gets elected.

They have no shame. They really think we are stupid. Maybe they are right. I guess we’ll see just how stupid people are around here. Asking us to bend over twice for them is a bit too much to ask.

Interesting to note that over 40% of the candidates running are Ratepayer Executive or advisers, including the organizations president. This from a group whose leader claimed they were ‘apolitical’ and thereby prevented this grass roots organization due process in exercising its democratic right with the group’s backing to field candidates in this election from other than its class of elites and establishment types.

I thought Decoux said he was a one time mayor?

    John @6:50
Today’s Pass Herald Ratepayer Meeting advertisement.

    Election volunteers

“Apolitical” you said, Bill said? I say, he and those on the executive who are now running for seats on council are a bunch of hypocrites, now aren’t they?

  12. Anonymous says:

    Lying, self-serving hypocrites.

    Lying, self-serving hypocrite.

I doubt if all of the Ratepayers that are running would be doing so if the Inspection report had been truthful. I don’t blame them for jumping into the fray, since the last thing we need here is four more years of the same. Is the mayor a hypocrite for running after he said that he was a one-timer. More power to the candidates for running.

There’s no hope for the Crowsnest Pass. Take away the old council and the Ratepayer wannabes that will take us backwards with their good ol boy ways and what’s left? We’re screwed!

  16. Anonymous says:

What experience you need to f—k

  17. Anonymous says:

It seems the ratepayers petition drive was the beginning of their election campaign.

It certainly does, doesn’t it. Pretty scary how things are shaping up. More houses soon to be going up on the market looks like. Not good!
