The Ukraine Conflict — A Primer

A Primer

For people who don’t really know what’s going on with the Ukraine conflict this video is for you. Historical background along with what’s been happening since this conflict broke out on February 24th of last year. Perfect video for beginners.

US provoked this war

And yes, the West are the bad guys. Despite their rhetoric (propaganda) and online censorship they provoked this war.

“It’s quite interesting that in American discourse, it is almost obligatory to refer to the invasion as the ‘unprovoked invasion of Ukraine’. Look it up on Google, you will find hundreds of thousands of hits. Of course, it was provoked. Otherwise they wouldn’t refer to it all the time as an unprovoked invasion.”

~ Noam Chomsky

Chomsky outlines many of the provocations the US/NATO power structure engaged in prior to the conflict, which many western analysts spent years warning was coming as a result of the provocative actions that were already being taken by the empire.

For more on the US provocations read Aaron Matte’s article here and Jonathan Cook’s here.

Meanwhile, there seems to be no end to this war coming soon as the recent US rejection of Moscow’s offer of peace talks has made quite clear. Not surprising, since this Ukraine war advances US interests. Enough said… for now.

As most of us know by now, war is a racket and it ain’t good for nothing. Absolutely nothing!

The reasons which government give for wars are always screens, behind which lie completely different reasons and motives.
